Initial Placement (IP)

The IP placement is from April 30^th, 2018 to May 25^th, 2018. After three days of observation, student teachers plan and teach one 30 minute lesson per day.

Professional Year Practicum (PY1 and PY2)

The Professional Year #1 Placement (PY #1) is from November 13-December 22, 2017. After two days of observation, students begin to teach one lesson per day. Teaching responsibilities increase gradually until the student is teaching up to 50% of the associate teacher's day at the conclusion of the placement.

The Professional Year #2 Placement (PY #2) is from March 19 - April 27, 2018. After two days of observation, students begin to teach one lesson per day. Teaching responsibilities increase gradually until the student is teaching up to 100% of the associate teacher's day at the conclusion of the placement.
